I am a freelance WordPress developer who has shipped 200+ websites since 2020 for clients in 5 countries. I build custom themes, custom plugins, WooCommerce stores and Elementor sites, and I handle the parts that usually get skipped: hosting, security, migrations and technical SEO. You work with me directly, from first call to launch.
Who this is for
This service suits you if:
- You need a new business site and want it built properly, not assembled from a pile of plugins.
- Your current WordPress site is slow, fragile or hard to edit, and you want it fixed by someone who understands what is underneath.
- You run a WooCommerce store and need custom catalogue, checkout or integration work.
- You are an agency that needs a reliable WordPress expert for hire to take on builds or overflow.
- You want a site that search engines and AI assistants can actually read and understand.
What you get
Every build is different, but the usual pieces are:
- A custom theme built to your design, or a lean child theme where that makes more sense. As a custom WordPress theme developer I keep the code tight so pages load fast.
- Custom plugins for features that need their own logic. As a WordPress plugin developer I keep business logic out of the theme so it survives a redesign.
- WooCommerce work, from setting up a store to custom catalogues and checkout changes. I built a custom catalogue and checkout for Living Expressions, a Canadian WooCommerce store.
- Elementor builds with custom widgets when your team needs to edit pages visually. I also offer this as a dedicated Elementor service.
- Technical SEO foundations: clean heading structure, schema markup, sitemaps, redirects and Core Web Vitals work. I treat this as part of the build, not an add-on.
- Hosting, security and handover, so the site keeps running after launch.
How I work
I work on a staging copy of your site so nothing breaks in front of your visitors. You see real pages as they are built, not just static mock-ups, and you can comment as we go.
I test every template on desktop, tablet and mobile. I check that forms send, that pages render without JavaScript where it matters, and that the site is indexable. At launch I check redirects and Search Console so you do not lose traffic you already have.
Communication is written first, with video calls when a conversation is faster. I write down decisions so nobody has to remember what was agreed on a call.
What does "best WordPress developer near me" mean for a remote developer?
People search for the best WordPress developer near me because they want someone they can reach, who answers quickly and who understands their market. Those are fair requirements. For a remote developer, "near" means three things:
- Overlapping working hours. I am on UTC+5, which overlaps with UK working hours and with early mornings in the US.
- Fast replies. You are not waiting days for an answer, and you are not talking to a middleman.
- Video calls when you want them. We can talk face to face on screen, share screens and walk through the site together.
If you are in Lahore, we can also meet in person by arrangement. I have written pages for each of the places I work with most: WordPress developer in Lahore, hire a remote WordPress developer in the UK and hire a remote WordPress developer in the USA.
Why hire me
- Volume and range. 200+ sites since 2020: business sites, stores, landing pages and migrations.
- I build the tools, not just the sites. I built the RENXW WordPress theme: a classic theme with a bundled core plugin, 33 custom Elementor widgets, a home-built animation engine, 20 one-click demo sites and an HTML-to-Elementor converter.
- I run live WordPress properties day to day. At Crypto Accountants (UK) I run the main WordPress site, a forum and an academy, plus hosting, security, uptime and a daily SEO routine. See the Crypto Accountants web platform case study.
- I work under strict rules. For Jome Journey in Singapore I build Google Ads landing pages written to ad policy, including rebuilding an enquiry site after an earlier one had been suspended by Google Ads.
Pricing and timelines
I do not publish fixed prices, because two "five-page sites" can be very different jobs. What drives cost and time:
- Design source. Building from a finished design is faster than designing as we go.
- Custom functionality. Bespoke plugins, integrations and WooCommerce logic take more time than content pages.
- Content readiness. Sites with final copy and images ready move faster.
- Migration complexity. Moving a large site with many URLs needs careful redirect mapping.
- Number of templates. Ten pages on one template are quicker than five pages on five templates.
Send me the brief and I will come back with a scoped quote and a realistic schedule.
How do I start?
Send a short description of the project through the contact form: what the site is for, what exists today and any deadline you are working to. I will reply with questions or a proposal.
