I am a technical SEO specialist. I make sure search engines and AI assistants can crawl your site, understand it and trust it enough to show it. That means fixing indexing and crawl problems, Core Web Vitals, schema markup and page structure, and it now also means AEO and GEO: making your pages easy for ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews to quote and cite.
Who this is for
- Sites that are not being indexed, or where the wrong pages are showing up in search.
- WordPress sites with poor Core Web Vitals, often from heavy themes, page builders or too many plugins.
- Businesses that want to appear in AI answers, not just the blue links.
- Companies after a redesign or migration that lost traffic and need redirects and canonicals checked.
- Teams that want an ongoing SEO routine run by someone who can also change the code.
What you get
- An audit with priorities. Not a long export from a tool, but a ranked list of what is hurting you and what each fix involves.
- Indexing and crawl fixes. robots.txt, XML sitemaps, canonicals, noindex mistakes, redirect chains and broken internal links.
- A Core Web Vitals fix. I find the specific cause of slow loading, layout shift or poor responsiveness on your templates and fix it at the source.
- Schema markup that matches visible content, from Organisation and Service to FAQPage and Article.
- Heading and content structure. One clear H1, logical H2s, internal links that make sense.
- AEO and GEO work (see below).
- Search Console monitoring so we can see what changed and why.
As a WordPress SEO expert I also make these changes directly in themes, templates and plugins, so you are not waiting on another developer to apply recommendations.
How do you get cited by ChatGPT and AI Overviews?
AI assistants pull answers from pages they can read easily and trust. AEO and GEO are part of every technical SEO engagement I run, and the practical work is:
- Answer first. Each page opens with a short, direct answer to the main question, in words an assistant could quote as-is.
- Question-style headings. H2s phrased the way people ask, followed by a self-contained answer.
- Facts stated plainly. Names, places, services and specifics written clearly, not buried in marketing language.
- Schema markup. FAQPage, Organisation, Service and Article data that matches the visible page.
- Readable without JavaScript. Many crawlers do not run scripts, so key content must be in the HTML.
- Consistent entity details. The same name, location and description across your site and profiles.
I have written up the full approach in how to get cited by ChatGPT and AI Overviews. Nobody can guarantee a citation, but these steps remove the reasons an assistant would skip you.
How I work
I make one change at a time where possible, so we can tell what worked. I keep a log of every change, with the date, so a ranking movement can be traced to a cause. I report from Search Console and real ranking data, not vanity metrics.
Why hire me
- I run technical SEO every day. At Crypto Accountants (UK) I run a daily SEO routine aiming at "crypto accountant" in the UK: audit, improve one page at a time against search intent, weekly link outreach, and measurement through rankings and Search Console. See the Crypto Accountants web platform.
- I build for strict reviewers. My Singapore property landing pages use FAQPage schema and keep content visible without JavaScript.
- I build AI systems too. I am lead developer of ALI, an AI assistant that retrieves sources and cites exact HMRC pages, so I understand how retrieval and citation work from the inside.
- I am also the developer. 200+ sites shipped since 2020. See freelance WordPress developer.
Pricing and timelines
I scope technical SEO per site. What drives cost and time:
- Site size. A 20-page site and a 5,000-URL site need very different audits.
- Platform access. Direct access to the CMS and hosting lets me fix issues rather than just report them.
- Depth of problems. Theme-level speed issues take longer than metadata fixes.
- One-off audit or ongoing routine. Ongoing work includes monitoring, content improvements and reporting.
