I am Hamza Naqvi, a software engineer in Lahore. I build websites, stores, web apps and AI tools for businesses, and I make sure search engines and AI assistants can find them. Since 2020 I have shipped 200+ websites for clients in 5 countries, all of it remotely.
How did I get here?
I studied BS Software Engineering at The University of Lahore from 2019 to 2023. In September 2020, partway through the degree, I started freelancing as a WordPress developer. University gave me the fundamentals: data structures, databases, how software is designed and tested. Freelancing gave me the other half: clients with real deadlines, sites that had to work on every phone, and problems no lecture had covered.
The early work was business sites and WordPress fixes. Over time it became custom themes, custom plugins, WooCommerce stores and migrations. Between 2022 and 2023 I worked with Strategic Investments LLC (UAE), Digicon Valley and Corcel, first on WordPress development and then in client-facing sales. That sales period taught me something useful: most project problems start with unclear scope, not bad code.
What do I do now?
I hold a few roles at once, all remote:
- Crypto Accountants (UK), since July 2025, as IT Operations, Web and Digital Marketing Manager. I run the main WordPress site, the forum, the academy and the ALI AI assistant, plus hosting, security, uptime and a daily SEO routine. I am lead developer of ALI, which answers UK crypto tax questions grounded in HMRC guidance and links the exact HMRC manual page for each law answer.
- Tech Goes Global (US), since December 2025, part-time as Senior Software Engineer, working on a Shopify store with a Node.js backend and a React dashboard.
- Jome Journey (Singapore), since July 2023, as Senior Web Developer, building Google Ads landing pages for property launches, written to ad policy.
- RENXW, an agency I co-founded, where I am technical lead. I built its multi-tenant CRM and its WordPress theme.
- Freelance, which I have done continuously since 2020.

How do I work?
I scope in writing before I build. A short document that says what will be delivered, who provides what and how we will communicate saves more time than any tool.
I build on staging, never on a live site. I test on desktop, tablet and mobile. I check that forms send, pages index and important content is readable without JavaScript.
I design the data and permissions first on web apps. On the RENXW CRM that meant 88 permissions enforced in the database, 834 automated tests and 425 tenant-isolation probes.
I write things down. Decisions, changes and handover notes go in writing, so nothing depends on memory. I am on UTC+5, which overlaps with UK working hours and early US mornings, and I am happy to join video calls.
What will I not do?
- I will not promise rankings. Nobody controls Google or AI assistants. I fix what stops a site ranking and measure honestly in Search Console.
- I will not invent proof. No fake testimonials, made-up numbers or borrowed logos, on my site or on yours.
- I will not pretend to be local when I am not. I am in Lahore. For UK and US clients I work remotely, and I say so.
- I will not quote before I understand the job. Two "simple" sites can be very different projects.
- I will not give legal advice. I build forms and consent with privacy in mind, but your legal position belongs with a qualified adviser.
What tools do I use?
- Web and apps: React, Vite, Node.js, Supabase, PostgreSQL with row-level security, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, GSAP.
- WordPress and e-commerce: PHP, WordPress custom themes and plugins, Elementor custom widgets, WooCommerce, Shopify.
- SEO: technical audits, Core Web Vitals, schema markup, Search Console, programmatic SEO, and AEO/GEO for AI assistants.
- AI and automation: LLM APIs, embeddings and retrieval, AI agents, n8n, Playwright, API integrations, CRM systems.
- Infrastructure: hosting, security, Netlify, GitHub.
